An author wrote an entire novel without using the letter

Gadsby is a novel written in 1939 by Ernest Vincent Wright.

Although it passed unnoticed in its writing time, today, the novel is a favorite to people who are passionate about lipograms (Writings in which certain letters are not used), the book is also a rarity sought for by certain collectors.

The novel is composed of more than 50,000 words not including the « e » letter, not even once.
